Pop rock supergroup McBusted are returning to play Sheffield Motorpoint Arena and we have tickets to be won.
The band consists of McFly stars Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd, plus Busted’s James Bourne and Matt Willis.
With the excitement of 2014’s incredible, jaw-dropping arena tour still ringing in fans’ ears nationwide, and almost exactly one year on from their formation, McBusted will return to the live stage this spring.
Fans can join them in Sheffield on Tuesday, March 24.
Having previously appeared as special guests during McFly’s tenth-anniversary concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, it was announced in 2013 that former Busted members Bourne and Willis would join McFly to form the six-piece supergroup McBusted.
They made their overseas debut, supporting One Direction on their Where We Are Tour in Denmark and then France.
McBusted’s own headline tour followed – it sold out in an hour and the band played to 350,000 people across 35 arena shows, culminating in a performance at Hyde Park to 60,000 people.
Every moment of McBusted’s launch and first year as a band was captured by their long-time friend and film maker David Spearing.
The result was a behind the scenes film, TourPlay, which ran in Vue cinemas nationwide ahead of the DVD release in November.
They smashed into the top 10 UK album chart with their self titled debut and reached number 12 with first single, Air Guitar.
Now they are hoping for more chart success this weekend follow the release of second single, Get Over It.
