You can read the project below and follow her on twitter for more info.

Galaxy Defenders’ Christmas !

Last year, I did on Super City a Pioneers’ Christmas. The idea was simple : Two Pioneers were paired and they had to send each other a present. This year, the project is extended to every Galaxy Defender who wants to join !

If you want to join :

– I’ve created a Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/GalaxyDefendersChristmas), you have until November 11th to like it if you want to take part of the project. On November 11th, I’ll consider that everyone who has joined the page wants to take part, so, please, only join if you’re sure at 100% to take part and if you don’t mind sending worldwide !
– I’ll write on sheets of paper everyone’s name, I’ll pick two names at random and those two will be paired. If we’re an impair number, I agree to be paired with two persons.
– I’ll announce all pairs made on November 12th on Facebook and on Twitter.
– You can buy and/or make the present you’ll send but it has to cost around 7€ / £5.5 / $8.5 (without prize postage).

! Please, remember : Only join if you’re sure at 100% to take part of it and if you agree to send worldwide >> http://www.facebook.com/GalaxyDefendersChristmas

If you have any questions and/or suggestions, you can tweet me (@ItsM3L) or contact me via Super City (Tissues).

Hope to see you lot on Facebook ! :)

As McFly are going to USA in september to do a few concerts, David Spearing has a new project in mind that involve all of you American fans.
For more info about the project follow this tumblr mcflyusafilm.tumblr.com/

~ McFly USA – The Film Project.

Are you coming to one of the shows in September? Are you and your friends travelling a long way to get there?

If so… we would love for you to film your journeys as part of McFlys American Documentary film…

Tell us your stories, film your road trip, let us know what these shows mean to you! We will be documenting McFlys trip to America and we would really like to have as many fans as possible involved in telling that story.

If you have a video camera, or DSLR camera with video capability, then start shooting.. The footage should be filmed in PAL (European) not NTSC (USA).

Introduce us to your world, tell us how long you’ve been a fan for, how long you’ve been waiting for McFly to play a show in your country.

Show us your hometowns, your family, your friends.. Show us how McFly has affected your lives.

Film every part of your story and journey to the show you’re attending. The more you film, the more we’ll include.

Be creative and have fun!

Here are a few filmmaking guidelines to help you along your way:

~ Cutaways.

Always get shots of your surroundings. Let us see everything that you see on your journey.

~ Interviews.

Travelling with friends? Interview them… get them to tell you and the camera their McFly stories.

Travelling alone? Film yourself and introduce your story… talk to the camera throughout your trip.

~ Questions.

Where are you from? How long have you been a fan? How many miles are you travelling to see McFly?

Whats your favourite song? How excited are you to see McFly live? Etc….

Once you arrive at the venue, make contact with David Spearing (McFlys cameraman) and he will get all the footage from you to include in his edit of the American Tour film.

Any questions? Send an ask on this tumblr or tweet @davidspearing, email: info@davidspearing.com

McFly stars Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter are writing a children’s book.

The ‘All About You’ pop stars have signed a deal to write two books, the first of which will be called ‘The Dinosaur That Pooped Christmas’.

Tom told BBC Newsbeat: ‘I think it’s easy to see that this book comes from Dougie’s fascination with dinosaurs, my love for Christmas and a shared obsession with poop.’

Describing the plot line, he added it is ‘about a boy who gets a dinosaur for Christmas which goes on an unstoppable festive eating rampage until Christmas is gone.

‘The only way to get Christmas back is for the dinosaur to poop it out.’

Despite the comedy title, the guitarist and bassist have put a lot of effort into writing the tome, and ‘spent hours’ in book shops to ‘get inspiration when writing’.

Tom added: ‘We want people to know that this book comes from a genuine passion for writing and reading and it’s hopefully the first of many.

‘We wrote what we found funny, a book we would have loved as kids. And we hope parents will enjoy it just as much as their children.’

The book will be illustrated by Garry Parsons, who has worked on other children’s books, including ‘There’s an Ouch in my Pouch’.

McFly – which also includes Harry Judd and Danny Jones – are currently on tour across the UK.

Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter from McFly have landed a publishing deal to produce two children’s picture books.

This October, Random House Children’s Books will release The Dinosaur That Pooped Christmas.

Tom Fletcher describes the plot as being “about a boy who gets a dinosaur for Christmas which goes on an unstoppable festive eating rampage until Christmas is gone”.

“The only way to get Christmas back is for the dinosaur to poop it out.”

Serious authors

Despite the comedy title, the pair are taking their writing task seriously.

“We want people to know that this book comes from a genuine passion for writing and reading and it’s hopefully the first of many,” said Tom Fletcher.

“We wrote what we found funny, a book we would have loved as kids. And we hope parents will enjoy it just as much as their children.”

The book will be illustrated by Garry Parsons, whose previous work includes There’s an Ouch in my Pouch.

McFly are on tour in the UK after all the band members recently tried their luck on reality shows.

Dougie Poynter won I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!, Harry Judd won Strictly Come Dancing, Danny Jones competed in Popstar to Operastar and Tom Fletcher faced ITV show The Cube.

Fletcher and Poynter are both fans of children’s picture books and admit they “spend hours” in book shops to “get inspiration when writing”.

“I think it’s easy to see that this book comes from Dougie’s fascination with dinosaurs,” commented Tom Fletcher. “My love for Christmas and a shared obsession with poop.”

Remember that a while ago Dougie and Tom were doing a secret project together? this is what they were working on!

Random House Children’s Books has acquired two picturebooks by McFly band members Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter.

Publisher for children’s colour and licensing Fiona Macmillan bought world rights through Stephanie Thwaites at Curtis Brown. The books will be illustrated by Garry Parsons.

The first title is called The Dinosaur that Pooped Christmas and will be published in October this year. It tells the story of what happens when a baby dinosaur’s appetite runs away with itself, and what happens when he has to return Christmas back where it belongs.

Macmillan said: “We are thrilled to have acquired this funny and original text from two very talented voices for today: Tom and Dougie, and for what could well be the first in series of books for the little dinosaur!

“Their shared love of weaving wonderful stories and a passion for children’s books shone through when we met. This is a story with for the whole family and one that will really make small boys howl with glee!”

I just read that on mcflymetro and I think it’s a good idea to try to bring McFly to Australia.

Hi I’m Emma and I’m a huge fan of McFly and I can proudly say I have met them. I live in Australia and am trying to get McFly to come back here again; an Australian tour is long overdue! I’m going to make a fan video and include videos/pictures/messages and send it to them and post it on tumblr (Tom & Carrie follow me).

If you want to bring McFly to Australia then PLEASE film some yourself and your friends saying how much you love them and how much you want them in Australia. You can also tweet me (@NiallMcFly) pictures of you and the boys or pictures with messages on and I’ll include them in the video with hashtag #McFlyToAustralia.

For videos, you can upload them to youtube and tweet me the link with hashtag #McFlyToAustralia, I’ll save them and add them to the rest of the video.I hope you all really get involved and if you have any questions feel free to ask me! I’m hoping to have all videos in by the 12th Feb 2012, so start filming!!!
