We’re in the last days of 2012 and as every year at this time the list with the best of the year comes out, this time flecking records did a list with their top 10 songs of 2012 and McFly‘s Love is Easy is at #6.

2012 has been an incredible year for popular music. It doesn’t matter which genre you prefer, there has been something for everyone in the charts this year.

Some songs have hit the charts so hard, they’ve ended up staying there for weeks, with some sticking around in the Official UK Top 40 Singles Chart for so long, they seemed set to become permanent residents.

Check out the ten songs we’ve loved the most this year…

6. McFly – Love Is Easy

McFly’s latest single, Love Is Easy, is a real treat for fans and people with ears alike. The video is a real nostalgia trip for any McFly fan who has been there since day one, because it chronicles their impressive career to date, and please forgive the pun, but loving the song is easy – it’s just so catchy. The track also features a quote from one of Flecking’s favourite Christmas films, It’s A Wonderful Life, so it gives us a double warm and fuzzy feeling when we hear it. The track entered the Official UK Top 40 Singles Chart at number ten, and has over 2,500,000 hits on YouTube so far.

Great news! McFly have announced plans to head Stateside this September.

Oh, the wait is finally over, and boy are you in for a treat!

The band will be performing at the legendary The Roxy in Los Angeles and then at the awesome Gramercy Theater in New York City!

Tom Fletcher took to Twitter to express his delight in finally sharing the exciting news “It’s only LA & NY in September for a few shows. I hope it will open the doors for us to be able to play all over the USA!!!”

We have a feeling this could be the start of something fantastic for the McFly boys and their loyal US fans alike.

The band have also put together a website, check out mcflyusa.com for all the latest news and updates.

Tickets will go on sale on July 20th at a bargain $20 each and will be ‘all ages’.

A few days ago I asked you guys to vote for McFly as our favorite visual performers,( you can see the post Here), well today the flecking records website posted the results and.. McFly are the winners!!!

McFly are the entertainers who you guys think put on the best visual performance.

The plan was to find out which performer didn’t just have the voice, but also put on the best stage show – we’re talking lights, pyrotechnics, costumes, hair, moves… the works.

Competition was tough! For the boys we had McFly and Adam Lambert, and Katy Perry and Lady GaGa for the girls. All put on fantastic shows, but it was McFly who came out on top.

In second place we had the lovely Mr Adam Lambert, followed by Lady GaGa and then Katy Perry.

Thanks to everyone who voted.

The Flecking Records website wants us to vote our favorite visual entertainers and of course McFly is among the nominees, they’re compiting against Adam Lambert, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.
We can make them win this so go and vote for them HERE (you can vote once per hour)

We’re on the hunt to find out who you guys think puts on the best live show – you’ve nominated your favourites, now it’s time to vote.

Of course the music and the voice are very important, but when you’re checking out a band or an artist live you’ve got to look at the bigger picture – the clothes, the hair, the props, the stage, the fireworks – it’s all part of what makes the show so special.

Inspiered by Adam Lambert’s quotes about visual performing, we want to know who you think puts on the best live show.

“I come from the performing arts,” Adam told Ottawacitizen.com . “I have all my life. Being on stage is part of what makes me tick and is my inspiration. When I created a lot of these songs, I would think of the visuals in my head: ‘How would I stage this? What would the music video look like? What would I wear? What colours are going on? What things are happening?’

“I’m a very visual person. Some people create a soundtrack in their head, but I create a movie in my head to my soundtrack.”

We’ve got a bunch of talented musician AND visual performers for you. Doing it for the boys we’ve got Adam Lambert and McFly, and in the girls’ corner we have Katy Perry and Lady GaGa.

Inspired by the charming Justin Bieber shouting “f*ck you” at a fan, we’re having a look at the celebrities who are the most fan-friendly.

We’ve also witnessed boyband McFly and The Wanted being exceptionally lovely to their followers, but when it comes to movie stars, sometimes the attention just gets too much.

A while ago I posted the list of the 20 sexiest male celebrities that Flecking records did, you can see it HERE, well now they elaborated another list with the same 20 guys but with the votes of their readers, this time Dougie was up 3 positions but still didn’t make it to the top 10.

13. Dougie Poynter

Where we placed him: 16

Why: We love the McFly boys and over recent years they’ve grown into very handsome young men. Harry Judd made an appearance on our last list in at number nine (will he make this list this year?) but this is Dougie’s first time. We’ll deserved, Dougie.
You can see Dougie doing a hilarious IACGMOOH trial with Mark Wright in the video (above) – even when he eating yucky stuff, he’s still hot.

Flecking Records made a list with the 20 guys they think are the sexiest celebrities of 2012 and Dougie made it to the list at #16. I’m the only one who think he deserved to be at #1?:D
Harry made it to the list too at the #9 spot.

Our number 16 is McFly bassist and most recent King Of The Jungle, Dougie Poynter. We love the McFly boys and over recent years they’ve grown into very handsome young men. Harry Judd made an appearance on our last list in at number nine (will he make this list this year?) but this is Dougie’s first time. We’ll deserved, Dougie.

The Flecking records site did a poll asking us who had the best hair and with all the votes counted Dougie is the winner.

Dougie Poynter came tops in our poll to find the male celebrity with the best hair style.

The Brylcreem Celebrity Hairstyle Awards have announced who they think has the best/worst hair – but we wanted to know who you though should top the lists.

We mixed up the BC Hairstyle Awards lists with nominations from you guys and put it to a public vote, and it was McFly bassist Dougie Poynter who came first, beating bandmate Harry Judd (BC’s winner). Top 5 results are as follows.

1. Dougie Poynter
2. Tom Fletcher
3. Adam Lambert
4. Danny Jones
5. Harry Judd

A good result for the McFly boys, dominating the top 5. And a welcomed appearance from Adam Lambert.
