WE’D ALMOST FORGOTTEN HOW MUCH WE LOVE MCFLY. ALMOST.

The McFly boys have a lot to be cheerful about these days. They’re all loved up with various laydees, are about to take a crack at America – and look really, really hot.

So when the lads took to the stage at BT London Live on Saturday – as part of a free series of gigs celebrating the ‘lympics – we weren’t surprised to see that they all looked FULL OF JOY.

So full of joy, in fact, that the photos from the event had us giggling in to our cuppa. Just look:

Danny McFly is having such a good time that he’s actually managed to lose all his teeth. Fallen out from all the excitement, probably. …keep reading.

WITH the Olympics being shown live on the big screens at Hyde Park, Team GB must be a tough act to follow for the bands.

Especially when Olympic heroes like Bradley Wiggins are interviewed on stage minutes before your show.

But McFly are old pros and they knew their job was simply to entertain the families in between our next gold medal triumph.

They threw in covers of Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now and The Beatles’ Twist And Shout for the mums and dads, while their own tunes saw parents flinging their toddlers around to keep the nation’s celebratory mood going nicely.

From the moment they arrived on to Chariots Of Fire with Harry Judd carrying an Olympic torch, the lads knew not to take themselves seriously

The frequent McFlyers reserved their biggest screams for Five Colours In Her Hair and, with album six ready to go, it looks like there’s plenty of life for the gents in between winning reality TV shows.

Like so many of our Olympians, McFly are at their best when they’re written off.

Great stuff, even if it couldn’t match up to our heroics on the track.

Brief McFly mention on this review of the BT London Live concerts on Saturday.

[…]They were followed by McFly who managed to get the best part of 50,000 people singing along to all of their greatest hits as well as some choice covers – One Direction’s What Makes You Beautiful, The Beatles’ Twist & Shout and even good old God Save The Queen – to create one of the most popular musical moments of the festival. Some lucky fans even got to meet the band thanks to our amazing prize draw!

This article was posted on the source yesterday so that’s why they say McFly are performing tomorrow.

If you haven’t bagged your tickets for BT London Live’s FREE shows yet, now’s the time to sign up! Tomorrow, Brit’ favourites McFly take to the stage at Hyde Park for a set which is guarunteed to be fun, poppy and perfect for the whole family.

Earlier this week, the group’s bassist Dougie Poynter teased Twitter followers about what the boys had planned, saying, “Do you like music? Do you like small k**** and strange hairy bums? Then you’ll love this…”

While singer Tom Fletcher also did some teasing by mentioning how hard the boys had been working on new material… new material they might just unleash tomorrow.

“Been recording new Mcfly music…including one with my little pink ukulele ” he wrote on the social networking site.

The gig tomorrow is due to begin at 17.20 but make sure you’re there early to get a good spot. Although places are free, organisers recommend reserving your tickets online in advance so you can guaruntee entry on the day (i.e. if it’s too full, you may not get in).
