YOUR BOOKCASE IS ABOUT TO GET 10 TIMES FITTER

With less than 2 months until McFly release their autobiography Unsaid Things: Our Story, they’ve only gone and released a sneak peek of how fit they are going to look on prime display in our bookcases.

Tom was pretty excited to share the cover with everyone, tweeting the image and a nice littler description of the book, saying: “CHECK OUT THE COVER FOR OUR BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!! 9 years of Mcfly stories in there.”

We LOVE that they’ve named the autobiography after one of our fave tracks from Room On The 3rd Floor and it sounds like Harry agrees with us.

“Unsaid things never realised he would be so important. He thought he had had his time to 8 years ago on ROTTF…,” he tweeted.

Let’s have a victory dance and imagine what sort of mad stories it’s going to involve..

It’s actually not the only book the McFly boys have been working on and Dougie and Tom are also currently working on a children’s book that they’ve poetically titled The Dinosaur Who Pooped Christmas.

Naturally it will be at the top of our list to Santa this year – that is if it ever gets finished.

“Off to a meeting with Dougie about our Children’s books. Somebody overslept…somebody whose name rhymes with buggy,” Tom tweeted earlier on today.

The only thing which makes me think is not the final cover is the fact that SuperCity mentioned earlier today that they will show the cover in a few days time. But you know, sometimes people leaks content.

I just copy and paste McFLYMETRO update because I couldn’t have explained better. Hope Kel doesn’t mind.

While browsing on twitter I came across the following twitter @MrPerou His twitter bio lists him as ‘photographer, director, tv-glitch and chicken farmer’.

His facebook status’ were posting through to twitter:

“today, i will mainly be photographing and filming McFly all day. i have the bastard peachick scarer (ludwig) with me… Ludwig is offended. Harry from mcfly has just mistaken him for a bitch. Apparently the diamanté collar was sending mixed messages… Free McFly acoustic concert in our studio right NOW. Come on down. Actually very impressed…. WTF? I like mc fly?? How will I live this down?”

Now I’ve had a look at his resume and it’s impressive: Jessie J, Justin Timberlake, One Direction, Plan B and Kelly Rowland plus some photography for film posters and major campaigns, so all-in-all very cool. So the autobiography shots won’t be shabby, that’s for certain.

He works across London, Tokyo, New York and Los Angeles and his London contact is:

Worlds End Studios, 132 – 134 Lots Road, London. SW10 ORJ #McStalk

Now I don’t know if that’s where the shoot took place or what. I think it may be finished now. Coincidentally it’s just down the road from Lara’s studio as listed on her website. Queer.

This may also mean that there’s going to be a behind-the-scenes video on Super City (or elsewhere if Perou’s doing some filming today) of the photoshoot including an acoustic performance.

We are more than excited that McFly are finally releasing an autobiography and it sounds like all that finger crossing has paid off as Tom Fletcher has announced that the book will contain some very dirty details about life in the band.

With seven number ones, wins on both Strictly Come Dancing and I’m A Celeb and a whole pile of international tours under their belts, we’d imagine the lads have got a lot of stories to choose from, but according to Tom, the nitty gritty will most definitely be making an appearance.

“We’ve been a band for almost nine years this sumer – we have quite a few stories to tell,” Tom told Billboard.”

“It just feels like we’re at a nice stage in our career and in our lives. And our audience now is old enought to hear some of the slightly more risque stories.”

You BET we are, although he wasn’t giving too much away about what those tales will involve.

“Boys in bands get up to exactly what you think boys in band get up to.”

Do they now? Well this is great news and clearly affirms our assumptions about that time Dougie and Harry did naked jelly wrestling in Japan and that other time the lads vowed to perform the whole next tour in the buff. Obviously.

We can’t help having a vivid imagination, but we’re looking forward to those chapters already. Fingers crossed there are some accompanying photos.
“I think [that the autobiography is] going to be a very honest tale of what we’ve experienced over the last years.”

We can’t wait.

Are you excited for McFly’s autobiography? What sort of shenanigans do you think the lads hve been getting up to? Comments below please!

Transworld Publishers are delighted to announce the acquisition of world rights for the first official book by McFly, to be published in autumn this year.
In what promises to be a frank, funny and original insight into the lives of one of the UK’s best-loved bands, readers will get to know the men behind McFly in a way they never thought they would.

From their early days sharing a house in Finchley to becoming the youngest band ever to have a debut album reach the number one spot, this book will give the inside track on their meteoric rise. It will include surprising tales of growing up in the limelight and the euphoric highs and desperate lows along the way. This book will be essential reading for McFly fans everywhere but, more than that, it will shine a light on what it takes to make it to the top and stay there for nine years, all told in their unique and inimitable style.

Think you know McFly? Think again.

Michelle Signore, Editorial Director at Transworld Publishers, says:

‘I am absolutely thrilled that Dougie, Harry, Danny and Tom have chosen to publish their book with Transworld this autumn. After nearly a decade together, the time feels right for McFly to tell their story and it promises to be candid, fun – and surprising!’

Further details, including title, publication date and cover, to be released shortly.

Want to know every single little thing there is to know about McFly? Well, you’re in luck, as the boys are planning to release a tell-all biography about their journey to fame, fortune and Reality TV victory.

Dougie Poynter, Danny Jones, Tom Fletcher and Harry Judd have signed a deal with Transworld publishers to release a tome this autumn, and the book promises to give the boys’ fans a warts and all account of the band’s time in the spotlight. “[It] will include surprising tales of growing up in the limelight and the euphoric highs and desperate lows along the way,” say the publishers.

So why the delay in releasing their memoirs? One Direction are on their second book already. Singer Tom Fletcher tweeted to tell fans that the boys wanted to wait until they actually had a long enough career to have something interesting to write about,

“Massive news, after almost 9 years we are writing our first Mcfly book. Our autobiography is coming later this year…we have Lots to tell,” he said on the social networking site.

“We’ve started talking through our lives and experiences of the past 10 years. We’ve seen and done some pretty crazy stuff. For those asking why there hasn’t been a book sooner, we didn’t want to do one of those tacky books only a couple of years into our career. We wanted to wait until we really had something to say, and we are now at that stage in our career where we can tell the Real stories.”

Publishers Transworld seem equally excited about the book’s release.

“I am absolutely thrilled that Dougie, Harry, Danny and Tom have chosen to publish their book with Transworld this autumn,” says Michelle Signore, Editorial Director of Transworld. “After nearly a decade together, the time feels right for McFly to tell their story and it promises to be candid, fun – and surprising!”

As long as the book contains plenty of pictures of Harry Judd with this shirt off we’ll be happy.

English pop-rock band Mcfly will give a sneak peek into their lives in a ‘never seen before’ style. The band is coming up with a candid memoir, which will put the spotlight on their lives from the early days to current stardom.

The memoir of the youngest band to ever to debut at number one on UK Album Chart, will “include surprising tales of growing up in the limelight and the euphoric highs and desperate lows along the way. But, more than that, it will throw light on what it takes to make it to the top and stay there for nine years, all told in their unique and inimitable style”, reports Digitalspy.

Formed in 2004, the band’s line-up consists of Danny Jones (lead vocals and guitar), Tom Fletcher (lead vocals, guitar and piano), Dougie Poynter (backing vocals and bass guitar), and Harry Judd (drums.

Famous for albums such as Room on the 3rd Floor and Wonderland, Mcfly’s book is touted to be “a frank, funny and original insight into the lives of one of the UK’s best-loved bands.”
