It’s funny how at the original article they wrote Tom Felton instead of Tom Fletcher..

School Of Cool profiles our favourite celeb heroes. From rock stars to royalty we reveal all the eco-secrets that make them top of the class. This week it’s McFly…

So, who are they?
We remember Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter, Harry Judd and Tom Fletcher of McFly as a guilty pleasure of the naughties. But judging by this photo the boys have certainly changed since the days of pop songs and silly haircuts. They also seem to have grown into pretty likeable young men, with bassist Dougie Poynter winning I’m A Celebrity and Harry Judd taking the Strictly Come Dancing crown.

Impressive. What else do I need to know?
McFly’s first album Room on the 3rd Floor took the number one spot in the UK Album Chart. In fact, the boys actually stole the title of youngest band ever to have an album debut at number one from The Beatles.

So, they’re cool guys, but why are they Global Cool guys?
During their most recent UK tour, Danny, Dougie, Harry and Tom made sure to be green heroes. All the lighting and electrics were as eco-friendly as possible, and ensured there was as little waste as possible. Global Cool also enjoyed speaking to the McFly boys at V Festival about all their favourite ways to Do It In Public. Check it out for yourself here…

A Playmouth newspaper talks about the upcoming gigs of 2012. Of course they have to mention our boys and their upcoming 2012 tour.

Vying with JLS and McFly for highest reading on the screamometer, the latest all-boy line-up to emerge as a result of the X Factor are certainly setting female hearts a flutter across the land. When tickets went on sale for the show in September, Pavilions staff noted the biggest queues at the venue for years. The first fans were in position 24 hours before the box office opened.
