ASK Italian will be supported by a host of British talent, including McFly, Lawrence Dallaglio, Lee Dixon, Dan Lobb and celebrity chef Theo Randall, on Monday 9th September as they embark on a nationwide fundraising initiative aimed at raising £250,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital children’s charity.

Starting in Aberdeen on September 9th and finishing at Great Ormond Street Hospital on September 27th, the ASK Italian Grand Tour will involve celebrities and members of the ASK Italian community cycling, running and swimming over 2,500 miles, raising donations and visiting every ASK Italian restaurant across Britain in order to collect funds raised locally for the charity.
Steve Holmes, ASK Italian MD said: “The Grand Tour will offer our customers and the public the chance to get involved in something that will make a difference to so many children at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
“We hope the Grand Tour will capture the spirit of ASK Italian; raise a huge sum of money for a charity close to our hearts, celebrate our passion for real Italian food and culture and of course, have some fun along the way.”
McFly commented on the band’s involvement, saying: “Great Ormond Street Hospital children’s charity is a fantastic cause, we’re happy to endorse the Grand Tour. It is a great initiative that we’re sure will raise important funds for the charity as well as giving the public a chance to get involved too.”
Neal Donnelly, Director of Corporate Partnerships at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, said: “Working alongside our partner ASK Italian, the Grand Tour is a great opportunity for us to raise vital funds for the charity as well as spreading awareness of our work across the UK.”
