Read below a review of McFly’s performance at T-Live earlier this month.

HAVING waited years to see them, I could scarcely wait for McFly to put in an appearance at T Live, but some great support acts kept the crowds entertained.

Two local bands – The Making and Madison – had some really catchy tunes and then came The Loveable Rogues, who were brilliant. I’ll be checking out more of their stuff. The Luminites and Stooshe both gave professional performances and the crowd loved them.

But by 9pm, I was getting impatient for McFly as were the thousands of other fans packed into Telford Town Park. Then YMCA blasted out of the speakers and we had to wait no longer as Danny, Dougie, Tom and Harry came onto the stage – and the crowd really did go wild, including me.

That Girl, Five Colours in Her Hair, Obviously – they ploughed through a great set including a cover of Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now.

Ten years together and they show no signs of slowing down – it was a fantastic festival and McFly were the icing on the cake.
