Ellie Goulding and McBusted’s Dougie Poynter have been joint at the hip since they started dating early last year, and judging from these photos from the Versace fashion show in Paris yesterday, they look so similar they could have actually been separated from each other’s hip at birth. Is that a weird thing to say? Um.

Sitting FROW (naturally, dahling), Ellie and Dougie wore all black errythang at the opening catwalk event of Haute Couture Fashion Week, and looked totally glam and loved up. As usual.

Ellie wore a long-sleeved maxi black mesh dress with funky gold hoops and a blow dry to die for. It had a mahoosive split up the right hand side, and revealed a sneaky bit of mid-driff in the middle. Ooer. She kept her lashes long and her make up natural, and gahhhhd her tan is so good.

As for the Doug-miester, he looked equally cool in all things black, throwing an oversized leather biker jacket over a black tshirt and shiny-look skinny jeans. Like El, he wore a statement earring, had hair we could only DREAM about and stubble even the beardiest of men would be jealous of.

Goals. We’d take Dougie or Ellie’s look TBH, not fussy. Thoughts? Aren’t they just a dream? Which outfit do you prefer? Let us know @Sugarscape, tah.

The competitors, Dougie Poynter, Matt Willis and Harry Judd, all had their eyes on victory during the contest

Between recording songs and jamming on stage, McBusted made time for a quick round of ‘hat game strong’.

The rules are pretty simple: the winner is the person who wears the craziest hat and wears it best. Got that?

A picture from the challenge was shared on Instagram by one of the competitors, Harry Judd.

The rockstar was battling it out against his fellow band members, Matt Willis and Dougie Poynter.

Together the trio are stood in a line while each wearing their own particular style of hat.

Each of the musicians are wrapped up in the picture and confidently showing off their headgear in the contest.

It was captioned: “Hat game strong”.

Personally we’d have to give the edge to 2011 King of the Jungle Dougie.

In fairness though the 27-year-old has got a lot of hat wearing experience and never really leaves the house without covering his blond locks.

He even wore one when him and girlfriend Ellie Goulding attended a catwalk show earlier this month.

Dougie Poynter has confessed to Sir David Attenborough that he moved into his latest home because he wanted to live near the TV naturalist.

The McBusted star – who has had his own brushes with nature as a winner on I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! – said he googled his wildlife hero in order to find a good spot to live.

The pair came face to face when they shared a sofa for an edition of The Graham Norton Show to be screened by BBC1 today.

Former king of the jungle Poynter admitted: “I’m a really, really big fan of yours. So much so that when I was looking to move and didn’t quite know where to move to I just googled where you live because it must be the most serene place ever, I thought.

“So I live just up the road from you. I see you quite a bit – on the way to the dry cleaners I go past your house.”

Pop rock supergroup McBusted are returning to play Sheffield Motorpoint Arena and we have tickets to be won.

The band consists of McFly stars Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd, plus Busted’s James Bourne and Matt Willis.

With the excitement of 2014’s incredible, jaw-dropping arena tour still ringing in fans’ ears nationwide, and almost exactly one year on from their formation, McBusted will return to the live stage this spring.

Fans can join them in Sheffield on Tuesday, March 24.

Having previously appeared as special guests during McFly’s tenth-anniversary concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, it was announced in 2013 that former Busted members Bourne and Willis would join McFly to form the six-piece supergroup McBusted.

They made their overseas debut, supporting One Direction on their Where We Are Tour in Denmark and then France.

McBusted’s own headline tour followed – it sold out in an hour and the band played to 350,000 people across 35 arena shows, culminating in a performance at Hyde Park to 60,000 people.

Every moment of McBusted’s launch and first year as a band was captured by their long-time friend and film maker David Spearing.

The result was a behind the scenes film, TourPlay, which ran in Vue cinemas nationwide ahead of the DVD release in November.

They smashed into the top 10 UK album chart with their self titled debut and reached number 12 with first single, Air Guitar.

Now they are hoping for more chart success this weekend follow the release of second single, Get Over It.
