The McBusted lads were in town and they couldn’t resist taking a quick look at the ECHO while they were being interviewed.

The band, who play the ECHO arena on March 31, had a good browse through the paper, taking a particular interest in the sports, news and music sections.

McBusted are getting ready for their second tour in two years – after last year’s initial dates selling out in an hour. Due to phenomenal demand from fans, the tour eventually played to 350,000 people across an amazing 35 arenas, before culminating in a show stopping headline performance at Hyde Park to 60,000 people.

Now armed with a debut album, the band are getting ready to play their new material live. The band are James Bourne – vocals, guitar, piano, Matt Willis – vocals, bass guitar, Danny Jones – vocals, guitar, harmonica, Tom Fletcher – vocals, guitar, piano, ukulele, Dougie Poynter – vocals, bass guitar, guitar, organ and Harry Judd – drums, percussion.

If this adventure doesn’t involve the Year 3000 we’re sulking

Now that you’re back to chillin’, maxin’ and relaxin’ after dying a bit when you discovered they’re supporting One Direction on the Down Under (oi oi) leg of the OTRA tour, McBusted have decided to shove another boy band shaped bomb in your direction by announcing the tour dates for their 2015 ‘Most Excellent Adventure Tour’. Hoooray.

The lads will return to the live stage in March, and gahd knows what their ‘excellent adventure’ tour might entail, but we know for sure it’s gonna involve strumming and banging. C’mon people, we mean on guitars and drums. GET YOUR MINDS OUT OF THE GUTTER.

Speaking about what fans can expect, James Bourne said: “You’ll have to wait and see, I can assure everyone that they won’t be disappointed. If we want a head to explode in a microwave, we can make it happen”, whilst Matt Willis added: “We always want to be the band that does what other bands can’t. Or shouldn’t do.”

Um, ok then. Sounds a little dangerous, non?

The tour is set to go UK wide, with dates in Glasgow, London, Dublin, Cardiff and more – which s just well bloody exciting, isn’t it? Already preparing our lugholes for ‘Year 3000’ and ‘Air Hostess’. McBusted are taking up the super sour sweet challenge and who is the winner…?

This says the Get Over It single was released yesterday but actually it hasn’t been released yet.

We review the latest single releases, with new tracks from Fergie, McBusted and Selena Gomez officially out in the UK today (January 25).

McBusted: ‘Get Over It’
We were left slightly disappointed by the lack of public enthusiasm for McBusted’s debut single ‘Air Guitar’ after it peaked at number 12 in the UK charts. Not ones to let that bother them though, the supergroup have pushed forward with their new mantra ‘Get Over It’ and bloodily massacre their office managers in the accompanying music video. Its chanting callout, chewy guitar riffs and sasspot energy makes it a prime blowout for their upcoming live shows, but we’re hesitant to predict that it will make as big an impact on the charts.

In my opinion Matt’s prank to Emma was better but still they choosed Ellie’s one so you can listen to it again below:)

AFTER a “drunk and high” prankster got put through to the PM – we take a look at some of the best prank calls of recent years.

NICK GRIMSHAW & MCBUSTED

The Burn singer was playing Call Or Delete on Nick Grimshaw’s Breakfast Show when she called her boyfriend Dougie Poynter and his McBusted bandmates.

Grimshaw put on a truly awful American accent to impersonate Johnny Depp as he asked if he could come and “jam” with the boys.

THE Supergroup will return to Glasgow’s SSE Hydro in March with their latest tour which is based on the theme of the cult film.

IF you thought McBusted’s last tour was impressive with their entrance in a Delorean and trip on a UFO, then prepare for another spectacle.

The lads are back in March with a tour based on the theme of cult film Bill n Ted’s Most Excellent adventure and we can only imagine what they have in store.

Could they be having weird encounters with Genghis Khan, Joan of Arc, Abraham Lincoln and Beethoven?

It’s anybody’s guess but it will be most excellent we know. Brain fryingly exciting, the show promises to thrill with hits including Year 3000, Five Colours In Her Hair, Air Hostess, Crashed the Wedding and a whole load of brand new hits from McBusted’s forthcoming album.

The boys  – James Bourne and Matt Willis of Busted and McFly’s Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd sold out 35 arenas last time round and travel to Australia next month to support One Direction.

They are coming to Glasgow’s SSE Hydro on March 12 and 13 with briefs available from  ticketmaster.co.uk
