Ellie talks about her relationship with Dougie on the latest issue of Glamour Magazine in USA. Also I added a new pic from the photoshoot they did together for the magazine to the gallery.

Singer Ellie Goulding is known for her honest, raw lyrics. So it’s no surprise she’s equally upfront about her relationship with Dougie Poynter, 28, bassist in the pop-rock band McBusted. The two are popular tabloid fodder—are they on again? Off again? “I’ve been busy; he’s been busy. We’re apart constantly,” says Goulding, 29. “But we’re great because we accept it’s never going to be perfect.” Now on tour for her third album, Delirium, Goulding opens up about being a musician and dating one.

On going out with someone in the business:
“Dougie and I have such different musical worlds, but he understands when I’ve had a tough rehearsal or tough couple of days traveling. I don’t like to rely on him to get me through everything, though. I’m an independent person—I do like to take care of things myself. It’s important to figure out ways of keeping your own Zen.”

On setting her own boundaries: “I keep a private life, but when I talk, I do it honestly. I don’t want to pretend I’m anything that I’m not. Much to my label’s annoyance, I do my own thing on social media. I take pictures of Dougie. I make fun of false press. It’s important to find a grounded way to deal with all this [fame].”

On her boyfriend’s style: “We dress kind of similar,” admits Goulding. “Dougie’s always like, ‘We can’t both wear this shirt!’ But I like it.”

On their relationship highs and lows: “Relationships have their ups and downs. And sometimes, yeah, I want to be left alone,” says Goulding. “Dougie is respectful of that.”

On the strangest part about their relationship: “People always say we look like brother and sister,” Goulding says. “Even our family members say it. It’s quite weird.”

A popstar is backing a family’s search to find a stem cell donor for their seriously ill 1-year-old.

Harry Judd, of McFly and Strictly Come Dancing fame, is supporting the family of 20-month-old Addenbrooke’s patient Hazel Richardson.

Hazel – known as Hazy – was diagnosed with rare blood cancer juvenile myelomonocytic leukaemia 11 weeks ago and desperately needs treatment.

Doctors at the Cambridge hospital have tested her parents Patrick and Alice and her 3-year-old sister Romy, but none of their stem cells was a match for Hazel.
Mr Richardson said: “As parents you can’t really take it in. You wake up in the morning and the first thought is ‘my daughter has leukaemia’ and it’s hideous.”

They are hoping that a stranger will come forward to donate their bone marrow and save Hazy.

Currently the toddler is being treated through a mixture of blood transfusions and oral chemotherapy, but finding a stem cell donor is the family’s only hope of a long-term cure.

McFly star Harry, who is urging the public to register with blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan, said: “It’s heartbreaking to hear what little Hazy and her family are going through, but there’s something we can all do to help.

“I really urge everyone to go to the Anthony Nolan website, sign up and help her family find a lifesaving donor for this special little girl.”

Hazy’s diagnosis came when Hazy’s mother was 38 weeks pregnant, and she has since given birth to a son, Wilbur.

Mr Richardson said: “The birth of Wilbur has been such a blessing. Hazy dotes on her baby brother – he’s a distraction for us all from the reality of what Hazy is facing.”

Mrs Richardson added: “Our campaign isn’t just about Hazel, it’s for all the children in need of a match; it’s much bigger than just us.

“I would encourage everyone to sign up, it’s a complete no-brainer. You’re saving someone’s life and it doesn’t impact on your own. You may not be a match for anyone ever, but it’s so important to be there, just in case. It’s such a unique thing to save a stranger’s life.”

Visit anthonynolan.org to join the bone marrow register.

[x6]EVENTS AND APPEARANCES > 2015 > STRICTLY COME DANCING XMAS SPECIAL – DECEMBER 25

Drummer who won series in 2011 takes home Silver Star trophy after scoring a perfect 40 in American smooth with partner Joanne Clifton

McFly’s Harry Judd was crowned the winner of the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special on Friday. The 30-year-old drummer competed against contestants from previous series of the show, including model Abbey Clancy, TV presenter Alison Hammond, TV and radio presenter Lisa Snowdon, the people’s Strictly winner Lance Corporal Cassidy Little and Holby City’s Tom Chambers.

Judd and his partner, Joanne Clifton, scored a perfect 40 for their American smooth to Baby, It’s Cold Outside. The judges’ scores were combined with votes from the studio audience to decide who would lift the Silver Star trophy.

The special episode was hosted by the show’s regular presenters, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. Sir Bruce Forsyth was due to host, but pulled out for health reasons after undergoing keyhole surgery on an abdominal aortic aneurysm in November.

Judd, who won the show in 2011, said of his Christmas special win: “It’s amazing, thank you so much, everyone. I had the most amazing time and I just want to dedicate this to Joanne, who has been an incredible teacher and an incredible dancer. Thank you and happy Christmas!”

Clifton said she was overwhelmed by the win: “Harry is an absolute natural and performed amazingly on the Christmas special. I want to say a massive thank you to him for being such a great dancer, partner, student and friend – he has made this experience such great fun for me.

“I am glad he can take home the Silver Star trophy and show his baby when it is born in January! I also want to say well done to the other contestants because as a group we put on a fantastic show!”

The show also featured musical performances from Dame Shirley Bassey and vocal group Blake.
