MOVE over One Direction, here come McFly, the talented pop/rock quartet who not only write all their own material, but release their albums on their own Super Records Label.

While certain boy bands are manipulated and moulded, McFly have always called the shots. An item since 2004, they still hold the Guinness Book of Records title for youngest band to debut at the top of the charts, which they did with Room on the 3rd Floor.

Since then they’ve fared exceptionally well in the UK singles charts with seven No 1s Five Colours in Her Hair, Obviously, All About You, I’ll Be OK, Don’t Stop Me Now, Star Girl and Baby’s Coming Back and many more top 40 hits.

Then in 2010, their fifth album Above the Noise, spawned their biggest-selling single to date, Shine A Light.

They’re already well on the way to completing their sixth long player and if word on the street is right, new tracks Do Whatcha, Red and Touch The Rain should make it into the set as part of the current Keep Calm and Play Louder Tour, which arrives at Plymouth Pavilions on Monday.

Although the show sold out months ago more tickets have recently been released. They are £27.50 and are available from the Plymouth Pavilions box office on 0845 146 1460.
