“We had a such a great time at Music on the Hill in 2011 that when we were asked to come back we had to say yes! After our show in 2011, we were lucky enough to meet some of the kids that Demelza supports, which allowed us to see just what a fantastic cause this is. We’re really looking forward to putting on another great show at Kings Hill in July, and hopefully help to raise a bit more money for these impressive charities. We hope you will join us.”

McFly make a welcome return to Music on the Hill following their sell out show in 2011.

Formed in 2004 with Dougie Poynter, Harry Judd, Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher, Brit Award-winning McFly have enjoyed huge success in the UK and have sold over 10 million records, with 18 top ten singles to date, including seven UK No. 1 chart singles and two No. 1 albums in the UK alone. When their debut album, Room on the 3rd Floor, went straight in at number one the band became the youngest band ever to have achieved this – taking this prized spot from the Beatles. Their fifth album, Above The Noise, was released in November.

Since their last appearance at Music on the Hill, drummer Harry Judd won 2011 Strictly Come Dancing, Dougie Poynter won I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and Tom Fletcher took on The Cube and won £100,000 for charity. Last summer they played for a crowd of 50,000 people at an outdoor show in Hyde Park as part of the Olympic BTLondonLive celebration and will be coming to Music on the Hill hot on the heels of an 18-date UK tour.
