McFly have revealed that they are often pressured to get a spray tan – by TOWIE‘s Mario Falcone.
Lead singer Tom Fletcher – who is married to Mario’s sister Giovanna – says his brother-in-law always encourages him to go fake, but he’s yet to give in.
Talking to Digital Spy about beauty regimes, Tom’s infamous wedding video speech and their re-release of album, Memory Lane – The Greatest Hits, they said they often took the mickey out of Mario’s perma-tan.
On Tom’s wedding speech/song which went viral on YouTube, they joked: “It wasn’t even a real wedding. She was an actress. Tom just wanted to be a YouTube star.”
The 27-year-old said: “I only put it up to share with friends and family who couldn’t be there.”
In the video, Tom pays tribute to Harry as well as his other bandmates Dougie Poynter and Danny Jones.
He sings: “Thanks to my best men – you’re more like brothers, sometimes like lovers – but we won’t tell them about that.
“We’ve been together for what feels like forever. But I’d do it again and again. We’re only just getting started and I know McFly will never end.”
Speaking about spending NYE with Mario and the band, Tom said: “I got really emotional. Danny started whispering sweet stuff in my ear and I started crying!”
