Mcfly are the latest act to be announced for the summer concert at Newmarket Racecourses.

The pop four-piece, who will celebrate their 10th anniversary this year, will hit the stage at the July Course for the second year after the final race of the summer on August 24.

Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter, Danny Jones and Harry Judd have sold more than 10 million records worldwide and their newest album is due for release this summer.

Amy Starkey, regional director of Jockey Club Racecourses, said: “McFly were fantastic when they played on the July Course last year so we are delighted that they are coming back this August.

“McFly are a hugely popular band and our spectators will love them when they bring their infectious music to the racecourse. It will be an occasion not to be missed.”

They will join Kaiser Chiefs and legendary ska band Madness on the bill for the popular Newmarket Nights, with five other concerts to be announced in the coming weeks – on June 21 and 28, July 26 and August 9 and 16.

Adult tickets cost £29 for the premier enclosure, £21 for the grandstand and paddock and £15 for the family enclosure.

Children aged 5 to 17-years-old pay £16, £15 and £12 respectively and all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Parking is free.
Tickets are available from www.newmarketracecourses.co.uk or call 0844 579 3010.
