McBusted have admitted that they would like to film the first music video in space.
The supergroup – which consists of McFly and Busted – revealed that they want to board a Virgin Galactic shuttle when it launches in 2014.
“We want to do the first music video in space,” Danny Jones told Digital Spy. “McBusted can record their first ever one on a Virgin Galactic.”
Matt Willis added: “[Sir Richard] Branson, c’mon – hook us up,” before Jones dubbed him “McBranson”.
Branson and his two children Sam and Holly are expected to be the first ever commercial passengers on board Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo when it takes off from Spaceport America in New Mexico in 2014.
NBCUniversal recently signed a deal to televise the live launch, with a date yet to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, McBusted have announced plans to headline London’s Hyde Park on July 6, following their 35-date tour of the UK.
