The super-group will perform as part of the Barclaycard British Summertime Series which takes place in the mahoosive outdoor venue next year on July 6
Super-fans were blinded by rumours of a McBusted album and some were left disappointed by the supergroup’s announcement today.
McBusted confirmed plans to headline Hyde Park next year and will be joined by special guest support act the Backstreet Boys.
It will be part of the Barclaycard British Summertime Series which takes place in the mahoosive outdoor venue next year on July 6.
Sure it’s only Monday but it’s still the most exciting thing that’s happened this week already.
Tickets for the humdinger are available on pre-sale for Barclaycard customers at 9am on 11 December, while previous attendees can snap their tickets up a day later before finally going on general sale on Friday.
The ladband members – a delicious mash-up of McFly and the best 66.6% of Busted – all tweeted their excitement following the press conference at the W Hotel.
But some fans weren’t all that impressed after reports over the weekend claiming the newly collaborated heroes are working on a new album.
One user posted on Twitter: “A little disappointed with that #McBusted announcement. Overhyped and should have been a new album, no doubt,”
Anyone who is disappointed by any kind of McBusted announcement needs to seriously take a hard look at themselves and start listening to Drake instead.
