Chart-toppers McFly bring their Keep Calm and Play Louder tour to the Riviera International Conference Centre in Torquay on Sunday, March 25.

The band are playing a tour of smaller venues across the UK, with support from bands drawn from the regions they visit.

McFly’s debut album, Room On The 3rd Floor, hit number one in the UK Album Chart in 2004, making them the youngest band ever to have an album debut at number one.

The album produced a series of Top Five hits, including Five Colours in Her Hair, Obviously, That Girl and Room On The 3rd Floor.

McFly have had 18 consecutive Top 20 singles, seven of which reached number one in the UK Singles Chart and 15 of which were consecutive Top 10 singles.

They have sold an estimated eight million records worldwide.

Extra interest this year comes from the fact that two of the band’s members emerged as winners in the winter’s big reality TV shows.

Dougie Poynter won I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! while Harry Judd won Strictly Come Dancing.

Support will come from Dorset band StopGoSixty.
