  1. I’m A Celebrity…Get Me out of Here! contestant Dougie Poynter has turned 24 in the camp, but was required to spend his birthday having cockroaches, mealworms, spiders and snakes tipped over his head in a Bush Tucker trial.

Despite it being the McFly bassist’s birthday it was decided that Dougie would take on the latest trial.
He was understandably apprehensive about it, saying: ‘Fatima will nail this Bush Tucker Trial but I’m happy to give it a go. I have to do relatively well as everyone is bumming out today.’
Dougie was greeted by hosts And and Dec at the trial area who wished him happy birthday and explained that the challenge would involve Poynter putting his face in different boxes, full of various critters, in order to extract six stars.
He giggled nervously but took to the task with courage, retrieving all six stars despite coming very much face-to-face with snakes, fly pupae, mealworms, cockroaches, rats and spiders.

Dec was ecstatic with the campmate’s valiant effort, saying: ‘You smashed it with three minutes still to go, you can go back with a peace offering!’
Dougie said the first thing he would do upon his return however is wash.
‘I’ve gone four days without washing but the smell was so bad I’ll have to now wash.’
The other contestants were overjoyed upon Dougie’s return, whose six stars ensured six full dinners for the camp.
When not being covered in critters, the McFly star has been planning a man-date with Mark Wright to take place once the show is over.
