  1. There have been some interesting duets in our time: Kylie and Jason, Elton John and Kiki Dee and of course Nicole Kidman and Robbie Williams, but nothing quite like Peter Andre and Dougie Poynter. Could it happen?

In tonight’s episode of I’m a Celebrity, the McFly bassist teamed up with his fellow campmates to form supergroup The Leeches.

As part of the celebs’ treat day, their challenge was to write a song inspired by Peter Andre’s Insania.

Peter said: “I’ve already sung once here, I aint going to do it again. There are some things I regret in my life and that was one of them.”

Dougie asked Pete to reconsider, insisting: “Finally the stars have aligned and McFly are collaborating with Peter Andre!”

The song they came up with went along the lines of: “Here in the jungle in our final days, smiles as big as Andre’s, Strumming guitar our Dougie plays, awesome in so many ways, Not forgetting Fatima who is always moaning for tea, The Prince and Princess locked in a cell, we’re ready for home you can tell, Left in the jungle.”

One to rival X Factor and TOWIE for Christmas number one? Maybe not…

After rocking the jungle, Dougie smashed up the guitar in true rock ‘n’ roll style.

He admitted: “I couldn’t have written that song myself as it would have been a song all about boobs and food!”

Peter really did have a magical effect on camp as he managed to put a smile on Antony’s face.

The Corrie star sighed: “It’s gone from being a dark morning to a glorious day.”
