Mcfly made a welcome return last night with an energetic show as part of their Keep Calm and Play Louder tour.

The boyband whipped fans into a frenzy with insanely catchy tunes like Star Girl and offered hints of what’s coming next.

The four lads stepped on stage to the national anthem and saluted the crowd before launching into Nowhere Left To Run.

Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones put in energetic vocal performances backed by bassist Dougie Poynter and drummer Harry Judd’s fierce beats at Margate Winter Gardens in Kent.

Punky pop number One For The Radio had the crowd punching the air and chanting “we don’t care”.

And three foot-stomping songs from their as yet untitled sixth album signalled the guys have no intention of slowing down.
